How we use your data

Who is responsible for your data

Data controller: ELEMENTS GROUP ALEXOLEG TECHNOLOGIES LTD, Cyprus, registration number HE455398. Location: Larnaca 6015, Cyprus.

For questions about data processing and deletion: support@lumeself.com.

What information we need

Your name, email, birth date, time and city are used to prepare your personal book using Valeria’s method, deliver the result and support your order. City coordinates, time zone and chart are calculated from the details you provide. The basis for processing is entering into and performing a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

We also store the completed book and identifiers and statuses for the order, payment and email delivery. Personal notes and checkmarks are stored if you use that feature. Withdrawal statements, receipt dates and confirmation delivery details are stored to handle requests. Lume does not receive your full card number or CVC.

Support requests are processed to provide assistance. Technical logs, IP addresses and browser information may be used for security and diagnostics on the basis of a legitimate interest in security, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Required payment and refund information is processed to meet legal obligations, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Services

OpenAI helps prepare text using Valeria’s method and perform automated checks. For new books, the real name is not included in the initial generation request. Birth details, the calculated chart and intermediate texts are transmitted. Previously started readings may have included the name in this data. The name used to present the book and the delivery email are stored separately from the new generation process.

City coordinates are identified using Open-Meteo and GeoNames. Payment takes place on Stripe. Your order and book are stored in a private Supabase database, and emails are sent through Resend.

Our hosting provider processes website requests and technical logs. Some providers and their subcontractors may process information outside the European Economic Area. You can request information about recipients and applicable transfer safeguards at the email above. Personal books are not published by default.

Visitor analytics

Only with your consent does Google Analytics receive information about visits to public pages, your browser and device. Names, email addresses, birth details, personal notes and private links are not sent to analytics. Advertising personalisation is disabled.

Your choice is stored in this browser. Analytics cookies last up to 180 days. You can refuse or withdraw consent through “Analytics settings” at the bottom of a public page. This does not affect access to your book. More about data processing: Google’s policy.

Storage

Web access to a new book is provided for 6 months from completion. Order details, the chart, book and personal notes are stored to provide access and handle related support requests. The end of web access does not mean all data is immediately deleted. Incomplete order details and technical logs are used to complete purchases, diagnose issues and protect the service; further retention depends on these purposes and any unresolved support requests.

Payment and refund information is retained to the extent needed for mandatory accounting and dispute resolution. This does not mean birth details and book text must be kept for the full accounting retention period.

A secure browser access session lasts up to 90 days. This does not determine how long the order or book is stored. You can start a new session after signing out.

Your rights and deletion

Where the GDPR provides, you may obtain a copy of your data, correct it, request deletion, restriction of processing or portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing.

Send your request to support@lumeself.com. To locate your purchase, include the order email and number if known. Do not send a password, access code or card details.

We respond without undue delay and within one month. If the complexity or number of requests requires an extension, this may be extended by two further months, with notice of the reasons within the first month.

If the law requires us to keep some information, we will explain which data is retained and on what basis. Deleting a book and its source data may end access to the result.

You may contact the supervisory authority where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred. In Cyprus, this is the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.
